How to join
Please find below our current subscription rates for joining the Dinghy Cruising Association. Choose the one that is most appropriate for you and click on the Join now button. Complete the application form and select your preferred payment method. 

Payment methods for UK applicants
 If you are in the UK, we strongly recommend that you pay by Direct Debit as the safest and most reliable method. We use GoCardless, an authorised payment institution, to administer direct debits on our behalf. You are fully protected by the Direct Debit guarantee which protects you in three ways: 

1. Notifications - you must be notified in advance of each payment.
2. Refunds - you are entitled to a full and immediate refund of any payment that has been taken in error.
3. Cancellations - you can cancel a Direct Debit mandate by contacting your bank at any time.

You can choose to pay by debit or credit card if you prefer or you can send a cheque to the Membership Secrtetary if you tick the Manual invoice option when selecting your payment method. 

Payment methods for overseas applicants
If you live outside the UK, you can use a debit or credit card to pay your subscription. The card payment system enables automatic conversion of the subscription amount to your local currency.

Members Directory
You will be asked on the application if you wish to appear in Directories. We have just one directory of members which displays the name, email address, boat, sailing area, DCA region and DCA role, if any, of each member. No other details are displayed. There are filters which will enable you to find other members in your regional area or the contact details of a Regional Secretary for example. You can opt in or out of the directory at any time by logging in to your account.

DCA Regions
You will also be invited to choose which DCA Region you would like to be associated with. This is to enable our Regional Secretaries to keep in touch if they wish. It does not mean you are in any way confined to joining rallies in that region. As a member you are welcome to join rallies in any location. You can look at our rally programmes to get an idea of the geographical coverage of DCA Regions.

Subscription period
Your membership will run for one year from the date you join. You will be invited to renew your subscription just before the expiry date.
