The 2026 autumn Journal will be sent to members this week either as print copies through the post or as a pdf attachment to an email. Please let the DCA Secretary know if you do not receive your copy.

It is another bumper edition with a mix of fascinating articles. For example you can read about the DCA member who has built 13 boats during his sailing life and about the Rebell, which was designed and built by DCA founder member Eric Coleman. That very first Rebell is for sale if you want to buy a piece of DCA history! You can discover how a melting ice-cream led to the development of portable outboard motors and how one of our members got stuck in the ice like Shackleton. The rally reports make good reading too, from the international get-together on the Norfolk Broads to the UK summer camp at Cobnor, while in America DCA members  put on a successful display about the Association at the Wooden Boat Show in Mystic.

The deadline for submitting items to the winter journal is November 15th but don't leave it that long!
